The Sparx ES300 Pro allows hockey skates to be sharpened at home, in a team workshop or at the rink. The third-generation ES300 unit performs the actual sharpening, while the PS300 Base turns it into a stable and convenient workstation. When travelling, the sharpening unit can be transferred to the included standard base.

The main component that automatically moves the Grinding Ring along the skate blade. It features an LCD display, a self-centring skate clamp, electronic controls and an integrated filtration system.
PS300 Pro Base
A sturdy metal-and-glass docking station designed for home, team or service use. It provides convenient access for cleaning and additional space for collecting sharpening debris.
Standard Travel Base
The lighter standard base makes it easier to take the sharpener to tournaments, training camps or the rink.
Sparx BEAM Is Not Included
The Sparx BEAM laser alignment and edge-measuring device can be connected to the ES300 via Bluetooth. It is not included in this package and must be purchased separately.
Grinding Rings Are Not Included

Key Features
Automatic and Consistent Sharpening
The carriage moves the Grinding Ring along the blade using controlled pressure, speed and RPM, helping every pass remain consistent.
Self-Centring Skate Clamp
The patented clamp automatically aligns the skate blade with the Grinding Ring. There is no need to manually compensate for different blade types or thicknesses.
Multi-Function LCD Display
The control panel allows you to select the number of sharpening cycles, monitor Grinding Ring life and view operating or safety alerts.
App Connectivity
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity allow the sharpener to work with the Sparx Hockey App. The app provides additional controls, player profiles and sharpening tracking features.
Integrated Filtration
A built-in fan and filter collect dust created during sharpening. The electronics notify the user when the filter needs to be replaced.
Technologies and Construction
Precision-Controlled Carriage
The carriage guides the Sparx Grinding Ring across the blade with controlled pressure, translation speed and RPM. Consistent passes produce an even finish and help limit unwanted changes to the blade profile.
Pre-Set Alignment
The sharpener arrives ready for straightforward setup without complicated adjustment before every use. An optical alignment kit is provided for checking and fine-tuning the alignment when required.
Quick-Release PS300 Base
The sharpening unit can be transferred between the Pro and standard bases without complicated disassembly. The PS300 features a strong steel construction, a glass access door and side mounting points for compatible accessories.
How Does It Differ from the Standard ES300?
Both versions use the same ES300 sharpening unit, so the sharpening technology and performance remain the same. The Pro version adds the PS300 Base, providing a more stable workstation, premium metal-and-glass construction, easier cleaning and more space for sharpening debris. The standard base remains available for travelling.
Who Is This Sharpener For?
The Sparx ES300 Pro is suitable for hockey families, demanding players, smaller teams and clubs that want automatic sharpening readily available. Its dual-base design is particularly useful for customers who want a stable permanent workstation without losing the option to transport the sharpener.
