Small stick. Big unboxing moment.
Bauer, CCM, Sherwood and TRUE in miniature. Ready for a game at home or a place alongside your favourite hockey collectibles.
You open the pack and finally discover the stick inside. Will it go on display with your other favourites, or straight into a game at home? Collectible mini sticks from Bauer, CCM, Sherwood and TRUE can do both. Each collection offers its own designs and a different reason to choose it.
Mini sticks are primarily made for indoor mini hockey, often played on your knees, and for collecting. For games, choose a soft foam ball or puck designed for mini hockey. Mystery or Secret packaging means you only discover the exact design when you open the pack.
Their main use is knee hockey, a game played on your knees. Short sticks suit a smaller playing area, with a foam ball or mini puck taking the place of a regular game puck. It is a way to enjoy a game even when you are away from the rink.
You might buy one mini stick to play with and keep another on a shelf. Collectible series feature graphics inspired by familiar stick models, player designs and special colour editions. Follow your favourite brand, build a particular series or simply collect the designs you like.
A mini stick also makes a gift for a young player or an adult hockey fan. With a mystery pack, opening it is part of the experience. If the recipient has their heart set on one specific design, choose a model with a clearly identified design instead.
A mini stick does not replace a regular youth ice hockey stick. Similar graphics or the name of a professional stick line do not mean it has the same playing characteristics as the full-size version.
Bauer, CCM, Sherwood and TRUE each take their own approach to mini sticks. Focus on the brand you like, the designs in the series and whether you want a surprise or a specific design.
The Bauer Mystery S26 collection features eight different designs. Each pack contains one mini stick, with the exact design revealed when you open it. It suits knee hockey games as well as a Bauer fan’s collection.
This edition is intended for children aged 6 and up. Check the stick’s handedness when ordering: the design is the surprise, while you choose whether you need a left- or right-handed stick.
CCM Secret S26 brings together eight designs, including player editions and special graphics inspired by CCM stick lines. This composite mini stick is made for games at home and collecting. Each pack contains one surprise design.
The collection includes Ryan Leonard’s Vizion Fishing Edition, Abbey Murphy’s JetSpeed FTW Pro Hot Dog Edition and Logan Cooley’s JetSpeed FT9 Pro Mountain Yeti Edition. Sarah Fillier and Cutter Gauthier have their own designs too. Three graphic editions of the JetSpeed FT9 Pro, Ribcor Trigger Unleashed Pro and Tacks Recharge Pro complete the series.
Sherwood Signature Series 2026 features six standard models: Blackout Rekker Morph Pro, Code Photon Pro, Code Photon Pro Team Canada Edition, PMP7000, Whiteout Rekker Morph Pro and Code Miami Ice. Each pack contains one randomly selected mini stick.
Collectors can also look out for the ultra-rare Golden Mini Stick. The gold version adds another element of discovery to the series. Choose a collection you enjoy in its own right, though, as no particular find is guaranteed.
Prefer to know exactly which design you are getting? Take a look at the Sherwood Morph 26.5″ Bedard or Sherwood Photon 26.5″ Tkachuk. Young goalies can also choose the Sherwood Mini Morph Pro goalie stick.
TRUE Mystery Mini S26 hides one of six designs inspired by TRUE sticks and special editions. Its composite construction combines indoor mini hockey with collecting, while opaque packaging keeps the graphics a surprise.
The stick measures 69 cm overall and is intended for children aged 6 and up as well as fans of the brand. Pair it with a foam ball or foam puck for games.
Photos show designs from the individual collections. Each mini stick pack contains one stick, rather than the complete series pictured.
For indoor mini hockey, choose soft foam balls or foam pucks designed for the game. A hard ice hockey puck or a regular hard ball hockey ball is not a suitable substitute for playing in a room. Even with a foam ball, clear a playing area and avoid shooting at faces or fragile objects.
The balls themselves can be collectibles too. Bauer Mystery Mini Foam Balls come as three foam balls, with one from each theme: Color Drip, Stick-Style and City-Inspired. You discover the exact designs when you open the pack.
The full collection features 18 designs. The set is intended for children aged 6 and up and adds to both your games at home and your Bauer Mystery collection.
This set contains four soft foam balls for indoor mini hockey. It is a practical choice for adding to your playing equipment and keeping spare balls close by. These balls are primarily made for indoor games, rather than following the same collectible mystery concept as Bauer Mystery.
Prefer a puck? This set contains three mini pucks made from soft, high-density foam, designed for indoor mini hockey. Use them for games at home or passing with mini sticks.
When choosing a mini puck, check the material and intended use of the particular product. The word “mini” describes its size; it does not automatically mean the puck is made from soft foam or suitable for games at home.
For games at home: check the length, handedness and recommended age of the specific model. Add a suitable foam ball or puck and check what the pack actually includes. A mini stick does not necessarily come with a ball.
For a collection: choose by brand, player or series. A mystery pack makes sense if you enjoy the surprise. Repeat purchases can produce duplicates, and buying a certain number of packs does not guarantee a complete collection.
For a fan of a particular player: choose a mini stick with a clearly identified design. A random pack cannot guarantee their favourite player’s design.
On player sticks, L means your left hand is lower on the shaft; R means your right hand is lower. Do not choose solely by the hand the recipient writes with. If you also need help choosing a stick for the ice, read our hockey stick buying guide.
No. The exact design in these collections is revealed when you open the pack. If the product offers a choice of handedness, you select that separately when ordering.
No. Materials vary by model. CCM Secret S26 and TRUE Mystery Mini S26 have composite construction, but that does not apply automatically to every mini stick.
No. They are also collectibles and gifts for adult hockey fans. For children, always follow the age recommendation for the specific product.
The name Sherwood Signature Series does not mean that a standard mini stick is hand-signed. It is the name of a collection featuring graphics inspired by Sherwood sticks and players.
Your first mini stick for games at home, a new addition to your collection or a surprise for a hockey fan. Choose a brand you love and add a suitable soft ball for playing.
