The Brian’s Iconik 2 SR builds on the previous Iconik generation with a firm, lightweight and responsive construction for modern goaltenders. The blocker combines BRI-FUSE board reinforcement, a thinned profile, neutral hand positioning and advanced finger and sidewall protection. With the Smart Dial Strapping System, it provides a secure wrist fit that helps prevent slipping and tension loss during play.

The Iconik 2 was refined over two years on the ice and in the hands of professional goaltenders. The result is a blocker focused on rebound control, a stable hand feel and confident protection during saves.

BRI-FUSE board reinforcement
The board uses BRI-FUSE Board Reinforcement, combining sculpted high-density foams with a high-impact thermoplastic layer. This construction creates a rigid yet lightweight core with long-lasting rebounds.

Flared Board Design
The steeply flared board helps create a sharp and controlled rebound. This gives the goaltender a better sense of directional control when steering shots away from danger.

Thinned board profile
The thinner and ultra-lightweight board carries over from the previous Iconik generation. In practice, it provides a tight, streamlined feel and helps keep the blocker quick during reactions.

Advanced hand and finger protection
The redesigned HD sidewall, double-layered finger blocks, deeper thumb notch and removable thumb pillow work together to improve hand protection. The construction helps deaden puck impact and protect the fingers and thumb during saves.

Smart Dial Strapping System
The Smart Dial Strapping System tightens the wrist with small high-strength cables, click by click. This helps the blocker stay secure, reduces slipping during the game and offers more precise adjustment than traditional straps.

Thinned Board Profile with Neutral Hand Position

The thinned board profile with neutral hand positioning delivers a balanced and responsive feel. The neutral setup helps keep the blocker natural to control when handling the stick and reacting to shots.

Redesigned High-Density Sidewall

The redesigned high-density sidewall is internally laced to reduce flex between the board and sidewall. High-density impact foams help absorb and deaden puck impact, supporting hand protection against stray pucks.

Removable Thumb Pillow

The removable thumb pillow attaches with Velcro®. It gives the goalie the option to add plush padding between the sidewall and thumb according to personal preference.

Fixed Finger Protection with Deep Thumb Notch

Fixed finger protection uses double-layered finger blocks for the middle through pinky fingers and padded flat board index protection. The deeper thumb notch helps reduce rubbing while maintaining coverage and agile stick movement.

Reinforced Nash Palm

The Nash® palm is reinforced through the centre of the palm and index finger with embossed synthetic suede. This improves grip on the stick and increases durability in high-contact areas.

Smart Dial Strapping System

The Smart Dial Strapping System uses small high-strength cables tightened step by step. It helps maintain stable wrist tension during the game and reduces the gradual loosening often associated with traditional straps.

Bindingless Cuff with Open Wrist

The bindingless cuff with an open wrist is designed to minimise interference between chest protector sleeves and the blocker cuff. The open wrist construction supports freer wrist movement and smoother hand control.
