Goalie gear that fits.
Find the right size for Brian’s leg pads, goal pants and chest protectors. Take the key measurements and compare them with the charts below.
These charts are a guide. The fit of a specific model and the way it works with the rest of your gear can affect the final size.
To choose Brian’s leg pads, measure the distance from the inside ankle bone to the centre of the knee (ATK) and from the knee to your preferred thigh-rise height. Your overall height alone is not enough.
Bend your leg slightly. Place a flexible tape measure at the inside ankle bone and measure dimension A as shown. Then measure dimension B and compare both values with the chart.
Measurements have been converted from inches and rounded to 0.1 cm. 1″ = 2.54 cm. Size labels follow Brian’s original chart.
Some sizes share the same ATK measurement but have a different thigh rise. Use the chart as a starting point and confirm the final fit by trying on the specific model.
Compare your height and waist measurement. Wrap a flexible tape measure around your waist without pulling it too tight.
JR = junior, INT = intermediate, SR = senior. Converted from Brian’s measurements and rounded to 0.1 cm.
Try the pants on with your chest protector and knee guards. The individual pieces should not interfere with one another as you move. Adjust whether you tuck or untuck the chest protector to suit your gear setup.
For a chest protector, compare both your height and arm length from shoulder to wrist. These measurements help you choose the right torso and arm coverage.
Measure arm length from the shoulder to the wrist. Values have been converted from Brian’s measurements and rounded to 0.1 cm.
When trying it on, check your arm reach and how the chest protector meets the pants. It should not restrict normal goaltending movement. If your measurements point to different sizes, try on the specific model before deciding.
Have your measurements and model name ready. We will help you check the fit and choose the right size.

Its 35° break and flat finger design create a clearly defined closing motion. The wide pocket and rounded fingers help direct pucks inward, while the floating wrist pad gives a young goalie the freedom needed to move the glove naturally.
Game Ready palm
The pre-formed palm provides a more pliable feel from the beginning. This makes the glove easier for a young goalie to close without requiring an extended break-in period.
Deep Double T pocket
The ultra-wide double-T pocket provides generous space for receiving the puck. Its construction helps guide the puck deeper into the pocket and supports retention after the save.
35° closure
The laced-in palm break works together with the flat finger profile to produce a quick and defined closure. The resulting feel is similar to that of a baseball catcher’s mitt.
Mobile wrist setup
The floating wrist pad and traditional strapping allow the goalie to adjust the fit without unnecessarily restricting wrist movement.
Comfortable backhand design
The segmented, bindingless backhand supports comfort and mobility. An elastic thumb strap helps secure the hand without interfering with glove closure.
The palm break is laced into the construction at a 35° angle. Combined with the flat finger design, it creates a responsive closure with a clearly defined folding point.
The wide, deep Double T creates a large receiving area for the puck. Rounded fingers and bevelled construction help funnel shots from the catching surface into the pocket.
The floating wrist pad uses a non-slip SBA synthetic material inside the palm. Together with the traditional strap, it helps keep the glove secure while maintaining wrist mobility.
The segmented backhand removes traditional binding to improve comfort and range of motion. A one-piece cuff creates a solid structural transition around the wrist.
The Brian’s Iconik X2 JR is intended for junior goalies who prefer a catcher’s mitt-like feel, a broad and deep pocket and a defined 35° closure. It suits young goaltenders looking for a more pliable Game Ready palm and unrestricted wrist movement.
