The CCM TACKS XR Hockey Shin Guards Junior are built for young players who need to handle bumps, blocked shots and more frequent contact without restricting skating movement. The Max Coverage FZN design combines an injection-moulded shin cap with an inner plastic sling for improved side protection and a self-conforming calf fit. The Max Coverage FZN construction uses an injection-moulded shin cap fused with an inner plastic sling. In practice, it helps protect not only the front of the shin, but also the side areas exposed during battles, falls and shot blocking.
The calf guard combines compress-moulded EVA foam, PE plastic reinforcement and D3O® Zero foam. This construction helps absorb impacts around the calf and adds a higher level of protection for faster, more physical play.
The injected plastic kneecap helps support the knee and distribute impact energy away from the joint. The comfort donut improves comfort in an area that takes frequent pressure during play.
The new injection-moulded shin cap provides strong protection with a landing area to help lock in tape. The lower section with D3O® foam reinforcement adds impact protection, while the durable liner helps prevent rubbing inside the lower part of the pad.
The compress-moulded EVA Flexmotion thigh guard is a removable and adjustable foam element in the upper section of the pad. It adds coverage above the knee without unnecessarily limiting movement.
The dual length-adjustable calf straps adapt to different calf sizes, while the padded Hyper X lock strap keeps the shin guard snug against the leg. This supports a stable fit during skating, direction changes and physical play.
