The Sherwood 5030 HOF Senior Shin Guards continue the classic design of the 5030 line with practical coverage and an uncomplicated construction. Molded knee and shin protection is supported by foam padding around the calf and a removable internal liner.
Lightweight PE Protection
Both the knee cap and shin cap are made from lightweight molded polyethylene.
Extended Calf Coverage
The large calf guard increases coverage around the back and sides of the lower leg.
Removable Internal Liner
The bird’s-eye mesh liner can be removed from the shell, making it easier to dry and maintain between sessions.
Simple Strapping System
A single elastic strap wraps around the calf to secure the shin guard.
Clear Tape Channel
A channel on the front of the shell helps guide hockey tape and supports a more secure fit.
The knee and shin sections form a two-piece molded plastic construction. Ribbing on the shin shell helps direct routine impact energy toward the internal padding.
Dense foam protects the calf and knee-wing areas, while the thigh guard uses standard foam padding. These sections provide flexible coverage around the rigid plastic shell.
The removable mesh liner separates the leg from the hard shell and supports a more comfortable fit. Removing it after use makes drying and routine care easier.
A wide elastic nylon strap wraps around the calf to help keep the guard in position. Hockey tape can be added through the channel on the front of the shell.
