This model combines the traditional character of JOFA equipment with modern CCM construction. It protects the shin, knee and calf, using moulded components that adapt to the player’s anatomy without feeling unnecessarily bulky on the ice.
Extensive Shin Coverage
The FZN construction combines an injection-moulded shin cap with an internal plastic sling. This design extends the protection around the sides of the leg and provides additional calf coverage.
Anatomical Calf Protection
The independent calf guard combines injected plastic, HD foam and D3O®. It conforms to the shape of the leg and provides coverage against pucks, sticks and physical contact.
Stable Knee Protection
An injection-moulded kneecap is supported by a D3O® Zero comfort donut. The construction helps keep the knee correctly positioned and disperses impact energy away from the sensitive joint.
Secure Strapping System
Two adjustable calf straps work with a padded Hyper X lock strap to hold the guard close to the leg. The secure fit helps reduce unwanted movement while skating and battling for the puck.
Customizable Comfort
The moulded EVA FLEXMOTION thigh guard can be adjusted or removed according to the player’s preferred coverage. A removable liner makes it easier to dry the equipment between sessions and helps reduce chafing.
