Sparx Figure Skate Adapter (PS and ES)

Expand your Sparx sharpener’s use to include compatible figure skates. The adapter fits over the front and rear of the blade, helping determine where the grinding ring starts and stops sharpening.

Key Features

Toe-pick protection
The front section covers the toe-pick area, helping prevent accidental grinding of the picks when the adapter is correctly adjusted.

Adjustable sharpening area
The adapter sections can be positioned to suit the blade, allowing you to define the grinding ring’s working area.

For second- and third-generation Sparx sharpeners
This version is designed for PS/ES 200 and 300 sharpeners. It is not compatible with first-generation Sparx 100 machines.

Technology and Construction

Secures to both ends of the blade

The adapter sections fit over the front and rear ends of the blade and are secured with screws. Before sharpening, adjust their position and set the grinding ring height according to the sharpener’s instructions.

Blade compatibility

The adapter works with most traditional figure-skating blades with flat sides. It is not suitable for multiple-piece, tapered, parabolic or side-honed blades.

Who Is This Product For?

Sparx owners and skate services looking to sharpen compatible figure-skating blades. Suitability depends on the blade’s construction and the generation of the sharpener.
