Simply guide the blade smoothly through the machine. The rotating Sparx Deburring Disc removes small burrs created during sharpening and helps produce a smooth blade finish.
Elite Stand included
The heavy-duty steel stand holds the Sparx SAMURAI in an upright position. It improves workstation stability and provides a clearer view and better control while guiding the skate.
Suitable for 3 mm and 4 mm steel
The standard 3 mm Skate Guide is complemented by a separate guide for 4 mm steel, which is used on selected goalie and figure skates. The guides can be changed without complicated adjustments.
No direct contact with sharp edges
The design allows the blade to be finished without touching its sharp edges by hand, making the process more comfortable and controlled.
Compatible with different steel types
The Sparx SAMURAI works with standard, coated, mirrored and painted skate steel.
Technology and construction
Sparx Deburring Disc
The dedicated disc uses a proprietary Sparx material formula. It removes burrs from the sides of the blade while helping preserve its sharpened edges. One disc can finish approximately 200 pairs of skates, although actual lifespan depends on use.
Interchangeable Skate Guides
The Skate Guide keeps the blade correctly positioned against the Deburring Disc. To work with 4 mm steel, remove the standard 3 mm guide and snap the included 4 mm version into place.
Elite Stand
The steel stand creates a solid workstation and positions the machine upright. This provides a clearer view of the blade path and removes the need to operate the SAMURAI only in a flat position.
